This page is for dog owners who would like support directly from us, in the different forms we offer. Every application is reviewed fairly, respectfully, and without judgement – so that support reaches those who need it most.

Asking for help is a responsible step, not a failure. We treat all applications fairly and respectfully, taking the time to understand each family’s circumstances before deciding how we can best help.
Our aim is always the same: to keep dogs in safe, loving homes by removing the practical pressures that stand in the way.
All support is provided subject to safety, safeguarding, and risk considerations, and may be adapted or withdrawn where necessary to protect people, dogs, and the professionals who support them.

Who This Support Is For
Our support is intended for dog owners experiencing financial or emotional difficulty, particularly those caring for rescue or rehomed dogs. Support is offered based on need and available capacity.

How The Process Works
A simple, four-step pathway designed to get the right support to the right families, quickly and fairly.

Fill in a short application form telling us about your situation and your dog’s needs.

We Review Your Application
Our team reviews every application within 7 days, with care and without judgement.

Terms Of Service
Eligible applicants receive our Terms of Service, setting out clearly what support looks like.

Support Is Arranged
We arrange your support sessions, connecting you with the right approved provider.
OUR SUPPORT OPTIONS
What Support Looks Like
Our support is flexible and tailored to the needs of each dog and owner. Where appropriate and subject to assessment, we may support access to practical assistance through approved third-party providers or partner organisations. This may include:

Training & Behaviour Support
Dog training and behaviour support delivered by approved, qualified professionals.

Grooming Assistance
Grooming services where a dog’s welfare or wellbeing is being affected.

Veterinary Bill Support
Help with veterinary bill affordability, including signposting, contribution, or partnership-based support.

Practical Relief
Practical assistance to reduce immediate pressures that may affect a dog’s welfare.
Support is provided based on assessed need, available resources, and what will deliver the greatest benefit for the dog. The Doggo Foundation does not itself deliver clinical, veterinary, or professional training services – support is provided through approved providers, in line with our policies.
All support is offered as part of our charitable activities and fundraising model.

Questions About Getting Help
No – applying for support is completely free. Any contribution towards services is only ever discussed where a partnership-based arrangement applies, and always with your agreement.
Our initial focus is London and the surrounding home counties, though we review every application individually. Get in touch to check availability in your area.
We review every application within 7 days. If you’re eligible, we’ll send our Terms of Service and arrange the right support for your dog as quickly as possible.
